Kathryn N. Gordon is a government affairs and policy analyst with a Masters in Public Administration and fifteen years’ experience working in the legislature and with not for profit organizations. She began her career working for members of the State Senate and then began specializing in healthcare policy and advocacy. First she was as the Director of Government Affairs for American Congress of Ob-Gyns District II (NY) serving as primary New York lobbyist representing over 4200 physicians.
Through her work with the Healthcare Association of New York State as the Director of Workforce and now as the Director of Research and Legislation, she was recommended and nominated to serve as a member of the board. Also known as Parker’s Mom, Kathryn is a Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation advocate and team leader for the Parker Heroes Squad – fighting for a T1D cure, and a member of the Board of Directors for the local region (Iroquois-Empire) of USA Volleyball.
