Motivational Mojo: Elevate Your Conversations

This is an introductory course designed to provide participants with a foundational understanding of the core principles and techniques of Motivational Interviewing (MI). MI is a client-centered, directive approach aimed at helping individuals explore and resolve ambivalence about behavior change. This course will equip participants with practical tools to enhance their communication skills, fostering a collaborative relationship between the interviewer and the client. Through lectures and interactive exercises, learners will gain insights into applying MI in various contexts, such as health care, addiction counseling, and mental health.
