Opioid Prevention Education Project (OPEP) is a partnership with the New York State AHEC System and the Human Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) where we coordinate and collaborate with local community-based partners, high schools and colleges to host community events designed to increase community knowledge and awareness of opioid abuse prevention, available treatments, and share resources related to available community services.

Check out our Events/Training tab for more information on trainings related to prevention and education on substance use disorders and opioid use disorders.

If you are interested in scheduling a Narcan Training for your organization, please reach out to Brenda Hansson at bhansson@hmahec.org
