Are you ready to explore your future career in healthcare?

Each summer, HM AHEC offers Medical Academy of Science & Health (MASH) Camps at locations throughout our region. Planning is underway for our Summer 2025 Camps.

MASH Camp is a one-day event where students are invited to explore health care careers and learn from professionals and professors, as well as participate in hands-on activities and demonstrations. Students will also learn about educational requirements, skills and job duties in addition to learning how to prepare for college.

MASH Camp is open to students entering grades 8-12 in our 10-county region. The camps are offered at no cost with breakfast and lunch provided. Students are responsible for their own transportation to and from camp locations.

We will have multiple camps planned over the summer and you can choose the camp closest to you! We are so appreciative of our host-site partners who help make each year such a success.

We will be sharing updates soon related to the application process.

MASH Camp 2024 application process: Completed applications and supporting documents can be emailed to across@hmahec.org or mailed to:

Hudson Mohawk Area Health Education Center
13 British American Blvd, Suite 2
Latham, NY 12110
Attn: Adrienne Cross

Each MASH Camp will have limited space. Applications will be reviewed to determine participation in the program - late applications cannot be accepted.

After the deadline and application review, students will be notified via e-mail about their camp status. Students may be placed on a waitlist if necessary.

COVid-19 policies

All participants are required to follow COVID-19 guidelines issued by state and local authorities, as well as the venue.
